To tilt up the back of the sunroof,

(
). To close the sunroof,
press and hold the upper part of the
switch (
). To open the
sunroof, press and hold the lower
part of the switch (

the switch when the sunroof gets to
the desired position. Make sure
everyone’s hands are away from the

The sunroof has two positions: it can
be tilted up in the back for
ventilation, or it can be slide back
into the roof. Use the switch under
the driver’s side dashboard vent to
operate the sunroof. The ignition
switch must be ON (II).
The sunroof has a key-off delay. You
can still open and close the sunroof
for up to 10 minutes (45 seconds on
some types) after you turn off the
ignition. The key-off delay cancels as
soon as you open either front door.
You must then turn the ignition to
ON (II) for the sunroof to operate.
If you try to open the sunroof in
below-freezing temperatures, or
when it is covered with snow or ice,
you can damage the sunroof panel or
motor.
On some models
Extending the head, arms
or other parts of the body through the
sunroof while the vehicle is moving can
cause serious injury or death.
Always take the ignition
key with you whenever you leave the car
alone (with other occupants).
