Removal of the wheel cover
Removing the wheel cover makes accessible:
−
the deck lifting cables,
−
the blade engagement lever.
−
the switches for the seat, collecting bin and blades.
1. Dismantle the springs [1] which hold the battery to prevent
their accidentally causing a short-circuit. Disconnect and
remove the battery [2].
2. Unscrew the clutch lever knob [3], remove the cover caps
from the springs [4], unscrew the pins [5] and the screws
[6] which are located under the side footboards, and the
rear screws [7].
3. Place the cutting height adjusting lever in position “7” and
the clutch lever in the “blades engaged” position, then
remove the wheel cover [8], taking care to mark the
direction of installation of the switch wires [9] before
disconnecting them.

If you prefer to remove the switch without disconnecting
the electric wires, it must be correctly positioned when
reinstalling so that it operates correctly (see 7.10).
