Removing the discharge conveyor
It is indispensable to remove the conveyor in order to remove
the cutting plate. This is advisable if the rear plate is removed
and the plate lifting cables are replaced.
1. Undo the internal screws [1] fixing it to the rear plate and
then unhook the small retaining springs [2] which hold it to
the cutting deck. Slide out the conveyor [3] resting it on the
lower edge of the plate so that the side fins will pass [4].
2. When re-assembling, grease the joints well and do up the
screws [1] without fully tightening in order to allow the free
movement of the conveyor.
