Removal of rear plate
The removal of the rear plate makes more accessible:
−
the lever and the deck lifting ropes,
−
the blade engaging lever,
−
the rear wheel axle (ring gear, differential and bearings).
1. Remove the conveyor and disconnect it from the plate
(see
5.3).
2. The rear plate is attached to the frame with seven M8
nuts [1], two M10 nuts [2] and two self-threading
screws
[3].
3. Remove the plate, taking care to mark the position of the
switch cables [4] before disconnecting them.
·
If you prefer to remove the switch without disconnecting
the electric wires, it must be correctly positioned when
reinstalling so that it operates correctly (see 7.10).
For models with a grass-catcher emptying device, the end of
the rod [5] will need to be taken off the lever [6], and the white
wire [7] for the microswitch [8], signalling a full grass-catcher,
together with the black earth wire
[9] must be disconnected.
