SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
To ensure safe operation
Read and understand the Owner’s Manual before operating the
mower. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment
damage.
Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to
use the lawn mower.
Never mow while people, especially children, or pets are nearby.
Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents
or hazards occurring to other people or their property.
Read instructions carefully, become familiar with controls and
proper use of equipment. Know how to stop the engine rapidly.
Use the mower for the purpose it is intended for, that is regular
mowing.
Install the fuel filler cap securely.
If gasoline is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine but move
the machine away from the area of spillage and avoid creating
any source of ignition until the gasoline vapors have dissipated.
Add fuel before starting the engine. Never remove the cap of the
fuel tank or add gasoline while the engine is running or when the
engine is hot.
Refuel outdoors only and do not smoke while refueling.
Store fuel in containers specifically designed for this purpose.
Gasoline is highly flammable:
Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used and
remove all objects which may be thrown by the machine.
While mowing, always wear substantial footwear and long trousers.
Do not operate the equipment when barefoot or wearing open
sandals.
Always abide by the rules, laws and other safety regulations.
Visually inspect the mower, including attachments, for any damage
and looseness of fastening parts, before each use.
Look around and underneath the engine for signs of oil or gasoline
leaks, before each use.
Check that there is no abnormal sound or vibration from the mower,
before each use.
