Transmitter Battery Replacement
Warning on discharged battery
• When receiving the response after starting/stopping the engine or locking/unlocking
the door with the transmitter, the icon can appear on the display indicating that the
battery is close to the end of the service life. Replace the batteries as soon as
possible (Normally, battery service life is not shown on the display.).
Battery service life
• The batteries are serviceable for approximately a year after replacement.
• Note that the batteries already installed in the transmitter when you purchased the
remote control car starter system can come to the end of the service life before the date shown as the guideline,
as they had been set at a factory before shipping.
Battery precautions
• To prevent poor contact of the batteries, wipe them with a clean dry cloth before installation.
• Do not hold a battery with a metallic tool such as the tweezers. It can cause short circuit of the battery.
