2.1
General information on radio technology
2.1.1
System operation
The radio system works in the frequency ranges 433 MHz and 868 MHz. These ranges are intended for high-
frequency units, for industrial, scientific, medical, domestic and similar applications and radio systems for various
purposes. When operating the system, no interference protection from the above-mentioned units and radio
system can be guaranteed.
Operating information:
The receiver (RF BUS-2 wireless receiver) should be operated in an environment free of interferences, i.e., the
antenna should be placed as far as possible from interfering components, such as electric motors, computers,
pulsed electronic circuits, etc. Interferences reduce the useable sensitivity and thus the achievable range.

Different constructional features of the object to be monitored result in different attenuations of the radio waves.
