:
Hose and ribbon cable assemblies in the
power track can be replaced independently.
Hose assemblies typically wear out before
ribbon cables.
7.
Check the hose assembly. The hoses will be tight in the snaplinks
and there will be hose dust where they rub against the snaplinks.
This is normal wear. However, if the wear is through the first layer
of rubber, or if the cords between the layers are showing, replace
the hose.

Adjustment of the power tracks

:
The cable space set-up must be done during
installation of any power track, repeated one
month after a power track installation and re-
checked every three months thereafter.
1.
Check to ensure the correct cable allowance/space between each
ribbon cable layer (see Figure 9-1).
Figure 9-1 is a reference drawing of this step. Standard procedure
requires this cable space set up be done during installation of any
power track, repeated one month after a power track installation
and re-checked every three months thereafter.
2.
Move sensor head to fully extended position, and remove beam
cover over area of the power track bend, and remove three snap
link covers exposing the cable in the power track bend.
3.
Ensure proper clearance between each ribbon cable layer. At the
bend hold all power track cables except the innermost, then pull the
innermost cable snug to the snap link body. Insert a spacer between
the innermost and second innermost cable layers (a business card is
a good spacer), and pull the second innermost cable snug. Repeat
for all layers, and then remove all spacers.
4.
Temporarily secure the cable clamp ~75 mm (3in) away from the
edge of the metal snap link bracket towards the cable end support.
