Where it is necessary for trays carrying Honeywell cables to
cross over power cabling, make the crossover directly across the
cabling (not over the power source) and with as much spacing
maintained as is possible.

Secure cables to the cable tray where runs are not horizontal.
2.7. Providing a safety ground
Before power is connected to the scanner, connect a safety ground. This
safety ground connects the scanner frame to a local ground to prevent any
potential between the scanner and surrounding conductive equipment
and the resultant possibility of electrical shock. The safety ground should
be 6 AWG wire to easily conduct the maximum current possible with an
accidental ground fault. The ground should be local and not remote to
ensure the potential is common to adjacent equipment.
2.8. Providing AC power
The Precision Platform must be supplied with AC power at the cable end
support. The power should come from an external circuit breaker that
provides branch circuit protection. The scanner requires 3 kVA, 50/60 Hz
(±3%), 208–240 VAC (nominal 230 VAC
±
10%), single-phase power. Site
preparation should include the provision of a 25A, dedicated mill breaker
and an electrical cable between the external breaker and the scanner for
conveying the power. The incoming power cable should include three
conductors: L1, L2 (neutral), and a safety ground.
