Terminate the PrecisionNet Ethernet cables to the PMP (MSS).
Refer to the PMP Installation drawings.

3.8. Connecting air sources
The Precision Platform requires two types of air:
•
Compressed air for the heads
•
Low pressure, high volume air for scanner purge
Refer to the Scanner Installation Drawings.
3.8.1. Connecting low-pressure air for beams and end
supports
If required, the cable end support uses low pressure purge air supplied by
a blower. The purge air positively pressurizes the scanner cable end
support to prevent dust from entering into the scanner internals. The air
can also be used for cooling the drive motor; however, if the purge air is
too cold, it may cause condensation on the outside of the scanner. Should
condensation occur, reduce the flow rate of the air to the scanner through
ducting.
To connect the scanner purge air, the ducting must be attached to the
eight-inch duct collar at the top of the cable end support shown in the
respective installation drawings. If air is not supplied, a cover
(Honeywell-supplied) must be used to fill the hole. The supply air ducting
must always include a damper to reduce the air flow should condensation
occur on the outside of the scanner.
Refer to the Scanner Installation Drawings.
3.8.2. Connecting high-pressure air for the heads
Compressed air is supplied to the heads from the mill air compressor
system through the power tracks. Plumb air from a local mill air tap to an
