Creating/Changing PINs
The manner for using PINs depends on the programming of the evaluation unit:
Each data carrier is assigned an individual PIN. Multiple data carriers cannot have the same
PIN.
The use of one PIN for multiple data carriers is possible.
A PIN may have 4 to 8 digits.
All PINs used in a system must have the same number of digits. The required number of digits is
defined by the installer according to the security requirements of the object.
An acoustic
takes place if there is no authorization, if the PIN already
exists (and multiple use is not allowed) or the PIN corresponds to a hold-up code.

Please note the following when creating or changing PINs:

Activate "OK"
"Alarm" indicator lights up green
Enter new PIN
Activate "OK"
Re-enter PIN

Hold the data carrier in the reading
The current status will be shown (see "Info" 6.4.7)
Activate "OK", "Ready" indicator flashes 1x
(partial admittance)
Enter current PIN, "Alarm" indicator lights up green
(Alter PIN mode active)
Enter new PIN
Activate "OK"
Re-enter PIN
Activate "OK", "Alarm" indicator goes off,
"Ready" indicator lights up for 2 sec.
