2. Installation
2.1 General installation guidelines
•
All installation work must be carried out by expert fitters in compliance with the general
directives regarding the technology for potable water installations.
•
The device must be set to ambient temperature before installation.
•
Only place device on a level ground.
•
Make sure that a connection to the drain is possible.
•
The device is fitted with a non-return check valve and therefore must not be fitted between
a water heater and the pressure relief safety valve.
•
Protect device against frost and extreme heat.
•
Putting the device into operation is part of the installations.
•
In soft water mode connected to galvanized pipework, phosphate dosing equipment
(Honeywell
Habe
Dos) should be fitted to protect the downstream pipework.
2.2 Preparation before installation
1.
Open pipe and thoroughly flush through.
2.
Install the device by its standard connectors (1").
