SERVICE LIFE
Under normal operating, storage and maintenance conditions defined in these instructions, the apparatus has a service life of 10 years.
Keen to ensure the quality of its products, HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS carries out detailed monitoring of the
OXY-PRO THROUGHOUT THE LIFETIME OF THE PRODUCT. As part of this monitoring, HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY
PRODUCTS reserves the right to exchange an OXY-PRO for examination during the lifetime of the equipment.
FREQUENCY OF MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION OPERATIONS
All the apparatuses must undergo the following inspections:
The following operations are to be carried out by personnel authorised by HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS:

If a defect is identified, the apparatus is to be sent back to HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS or inspected by a
person approved by HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS.
Depressurisation
The OXY-PRO apparatus must be depressurised by a person approved by HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS, using
the closure kit.
Users who do not wish to destroy used cartridges may return them to HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS, which will
take all the precautions required.
TRAINING
The training model of FENZY TRAINING OXY-PRO may be used to demonstrate how to open the casing, wear the apparatus and start
it, and for training the personnel.
That device has a dummy cartridge and is used to practice starting up the equipment. It is used for demonstrations and traini ng in a
breathable atmosphere. It does not simulate physiological phenomena such as the CO
2
or O
2
level, or the temperature of inhaled gases.
It may not be used in a hazardous atmosphere.
It makes it possible to trigger the starter in order to simulate the filling of the breathing bag and breathing with resistance similar to that of
the escape apparatus.
Staff training and regular retraining are essential. They are essential for the correct use of the apparatuses in emergency situations.
FENZY TRAINING OXY-PRO apparatuses have visual indicators to avoid any confusion with actual functioning apparatuses.
SPARE PARTS
The spare parts of the FENZY OXY-PRO device are presented through exploded views in the spare parts price list (price and part
number), which is available on request.
SUPPORT AND TRAINING
All HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS apparatuses are designed to allow maintenance by the users, but that requires
a minimum level of skills and the use of appropriate equipment.
Training courses may be organised on the customer's premises or in our own training establishments.

LIMIT OF MANUFACTURER'S GUARANTEE
In accordance with HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS specifications, checks and maintenance operations must be
performed by personnel qualified and authorised by HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS. Only original inspection
benches, special tools and spare parts may be used. The recommendations relating to the frequency of testing and maintenance
described in these instructions must be followed.
Only original HONEYWELL RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS apparatus complies with the certified CE configuration.
As a result, this guarantee does not cover apparatuses used with components other than those supplied or replaced by HONEYWELL
RESPIRATORY SAFETY PRODUCTS.
