HF710 & HPF870 OPERATION
• Be sure the fan is in the
OFF
position.
• Place your fan on a dry, level surface.
• Plug the power cord into a polarized 120 volt AC wall outlet.
• To operate, turn the control knob to the desired fan speed:
HIGH( ), MEDIUM ( ) or LOW ( ) (Fig. 4)
• To activate
wide area oscillation
feature, press the
( )
Oscillation
button once. Press the Oscillation button
again to turn the
Oscillation
feature off.
• Adjust the fan to the desired angular air output direction.
Fan head pivots 90 degrees.
• To move the fan, turn the fan
OFF
( ) and pick it up by the
handle located on the back of the fan. (Fig. 5)
• Be sure the fan is in the
OFF
position.

On/Off
push the ( ) button. The unit will default to the
HIGH fan speed.
• To operate, press the ( )button to the desired fan speed:
HIGH ( ), MEDIUM ( ) or LOW ( ). LEDs will light each speed
as you press the ( ) button to change fan speed. (Fig. 6)
• To activate
wide area oscillation
feature, press the
Oscillation
button once ( ). Press the Oscillation button again to turn the
Oscillation
feature off. (Fig. 7)
• To activate the
Auto-Off Timer
option choose from 1,2 or 4 hour
settings by pressing the Timer ( ) button.
For 1 hour: Press the Timer button ( ) once.
For 2 hours: Press the Timer button ( ) twice.
For 4 hours: Press the Timer button ( ) a third time.
Press the
Timer button
a fourth time to turn the Timer feature off.
• Adjust the fan to the desired angular air output direction.
Fan head pivots 90 degrees.
• To move the fan, turn the fan
OFF
and pick it up by the handle
