Connecting to the Panels
C.4 ESSER Panels
The gateway should have an RS-485 connection with the panel for sending events. If
Inventory Synchronization
is required, use the RS-232 connection.

The gateway operates only with the ESSER fire alarm control panels as listed in the table
below:

C.4.2 To Use an RS-485 Connection
Using an RS-485 cable the CLSS Gateway and the panel are connected.
