Malfunction
Causes
Solution
There is leakage of water
from the joint between the
water segregator’s adapter
and the tap
1. Is the water segregator’s
adapter securely fastened?
2. Is the washer placed
properly?
1. Tighten the water
segregator’s adapter until it
cannot be tightened any further.
2. Make sure the washer is
properly installed.
There is water leakage
from the joint between the
water segregator nut and
the adapter
1. Is the water segregator but
securely fastened?
2. The washer may have been
twisted or not properly placed?
1. Tighten the water segregator
nut until it cannot be tightened
any further.
2. Make sure the washer is
properly installed.
There is water leakage
from the joint (at the base
of the machine) between
the connecting hose and
the machine’s water outlet?
1. Is the hose properly
installed?
2. Is the clip properly fastened?
Re-insert the purified water
hose.
Reduced water volume
from the tap, and reduced
volume of water from the
water purifier’s water outlet.
1. Is the water segregator’s filter
net clogged?
2. Is the cartridge clogged?
Should it be replaced?
1. Wash the water segregator’s
filter net;
2. Change the cartridge.
Filtered water emits odor
or smell
Has the cartridge’s filtration
capability deteriorated?
Change the cartridge.
Suitable for different types of tap
Water segregator cannot be
installed on the following types
of tap:
1. The tap’s end is less than 15
mm, or its diameter exceeds
25 mm;
2. The tap is installed with
sprinkler, or is of irregular
shape (such as square- or
oval-shape, etc.);
3. Taps fitted with sensors;
4. Thread specification.
