The tap’s thread does not match that of the adapters.
Selecting the correct adapter for the tap in your kitchen
The following concerns the type of adapter to be used for the tap in your home:
If the tap has neither external nor internal groove (thread) and its end has a diameter of
between 15 mm and 25 mm, metallic adapter may be used. Its installation method is as
follows:
1. First remove the screw on the metallic adapter using a Philip’s head screwdriver
(cross screwdriver);
2. Install the metallic adapter onto the water segregator nut;
3. Use the cross screwdriver to lock the screw on the metallic adapter;
4. Turn the nut on the water segregator but leave a gap of 3-4 mm;
5. Forcefully push the water segregator onto the tap and tighten the screw using the
screwdriver. The metallic adapter is now fastened on the tap;
Please note that that the metallic adapter has 4 screws; all of them must be
tightened evenly;
6. Turn the nut by hand to fasten the water segregator onto the tap.
