If the tap has neither external nor internal groove (thread) and its end has a diameter of
between 15 mm and 25 mm, universal adapter may be used.
Its installation method is
as follows:
1. Install the M22*1 adapter on the water segregator as shown in the illustration;
2. Install the universal adapter on the water segregator;
3. Use a slot-type screwdriver to loosen the tube clip on the universal adapter before
mounting the latter over the tap. If the universal adapter cannot be mounted onto the
tap, remove the rubber layer inside it. Finally tighten the clip using the screwdriver.
If the tap has external groove (thread) and its diameter is 22 mm, and the groove
interval is 1 or 1.25 mm, internal-groove adapter may be used:
1. Firstly remove the external groove cover from the tap;
2. Install the internal groove adapter on the water segregator nut. It is possible to use
One Yuan coin to tighten the internal groove adapter onto the tap (the adapter also
has grooves on its exterior);
3. Turn the water segregator nut to install it on the tap;
If the tap has ring on its end and its diameter is 16 mm or 19 mm, it is possible to use
adapter:
1. Firstly insert the water segregator nut over the tap;
2. Expand the adapter by hand before inserting it over the tap;
3. Turn the water segregator nut to install it on the tap.
