Connecting Audio Output
Audio outputs of encoder and decoder are both 3.5mm Audio Jack,
Line out (-10dBv / 316mVRMS, output resistance 10K
Ω
). Headphone
or active speaker can be connected to Audio Input directly. Other
sound output device can also be connected to Audio Output interface
through amplifier.
Audio output is effective only in video decoders.
Connecting Alarm IN and Out Device
Connecting Alarm Input Device

Alarm input is Normal Open and Normal Close type.
•
Alarm detector should be powered by external power.
•
Earth terminal of alarm detector should be connected to its COM
port.
•
Earth terminal of alarm detector should be connected to DI-
•
Normal Open terminal or Normal Closed terminal of the alarm
detector should be connected to encoder’s DI+.
Alarm input is only effective in video encoder.
Connecting Alarm Output Device
There is an alarm output interface (Normal Open Contact) on the rear
panel of encoder and decoder. External alarm device must be
powered.
To avoid damaging the panel because of overload, refer to relay
parameters in the following table when connecting the device.
