The Direct-To will also be
denoted on the
ACTIVE
FLIGHT PLAN
Page. Press
the
FPL
Key and note the
change in the magenta arrow
in the waypoint list indicates a
Direct-To the waypoint as
shown in Figure 1-141.
After the waypoint is reached,
the KMD 250 will navigate the
remainder of the active flight
plan.
MANUALLY SELECTING AN
ACTIVE FLIGHT PLAN LEG
To select a specific leg within
an active flight plan perform the
following steps.
1.
Press the Direct-To Key to
display the Direct-To window
as shown previously in Figure
1-139 .
2.
Press the Direct-To Key a
second time to display Figure
1-142.
3.
Use the Joystick to scan
the flight plan legs.
4.
When the desired leg is
displayed, press the
ACTI-
VATE
Softkey and the Map will
again be displayed as in Figure
1-143. Note the airplane is
navigating to intercept the
selected flight plan leg.
After the leg is intercepted, the KMD 250 will provide navigation guid-
ance the remainder of the active flight plan.
