Customer Service
Center
The Honeywell location which monitors your system.
Designated Delay
Door(s)
The door or doors you use to leave or enter your home while
the security system is armed. Entry through any door that is
not a designated delay door causes an immediate alarm.
Duress Code
A special code you use to signal for help if you are forced by
an intruder to disarm your system. You selected a Duress
Digit at the time of installation. Press this digit, followed by
your normal passcode, and a silent alarm is sent to the
Honeywell Customer Service Center. This feature is
optional.
Entry Delay
The programmable time delay that allows you to enter and
disarm your security system through designated delay doors
without causing an alarm. (See the Honeywell 7000
Configuration section for the length of your programmed
delay time(s).)
Event Log
A record of the last 56 events, including alarms, that have
occurred. This includes the date and time, a description of
each event, and the passcode number of who authorized a
security disarming operation.
Exit Delay
The programmable time delay that allows you to arm and
leave your security system through designated delay doors
without causing an alarm. (See the Honeywell 7000
Configuration section for the length of your programmed
delay time.)
Extent of
Protection
The number of building openings (doors and windows) and
interior locations that are guarded by security sensors.
Guarding only the most vulnerable places in the house such
as the front and back door offers limited protection; however,
safeguarding every perimeter door and window accompa-
nied by interior motion detectors in key locations provides
more complete protection. You decided on the extent of
protection for your home when you purchased your system.
Force Arm
The bypassing of open points of protection during the
arming sequence.
Interior
Protection
The sensors located within the home that detect human
movement. See the Honeywell 7000 Configuration section.
These could include motion detectors, pressure sensitive
mats, and magnetic contact switches on interior doors.
