Installation Instructions
General Information
The TCPA2B is a wireless keyfob that may be worn around the neck, on a wrist band or
as an apparel clip that may also be mounted to a desk. Pressing both buttons for at least
300 ms and releasing them, sends a signal to the panel. The product is intended for use
with wireless alarm systems that support the Alpha, Alpha Russia or V2 transmission
protocols, such as the Domonial panels.
Registration and Configuration

First, set the panel to registration mode.

To start registration, press both buttons for 5 seconds. The keyfob will try to register
with the following sequence of radio protocols: Alpha, V2, Alpha Russia. To register
the keyfob with a different panel remove and put the battery back to enable the
registration procedure.
Configuration is performed via a programming tool. By default the keyfob is set to send a
Panic Alarm signal when activated. You can change the default settings to Home
Automation (drive controllers), Arming/Disarming, User Supervision.

Battery Replacement
(see figure on first page)
The TCPA2B is powered by a long-life Lithium battery that may be replaced when a low
battery is eventually indicated by the control unit.
1. Remove 4 screws (

) and lift off cover.
2. Using a small flat-blade screwdriver remove old battery (

).
3. Insert new battery by placing new battery under the gold tab and then pressing down

). Ensure the positive (+) side of battery is face up after installation.
4. Align cover and attach with 4 screws.
NOTE:
When replacing the battery, wait a minimum of 10 seconds prior to installing the new battery.
NOTE:
Although water-resistant, please do not immerse in water at a depth below 10cm for more
than 1 hour.
