To improve performance, the system only runs two accounts in the background: the owner"s
account and the previous sub-user"s account. All other user accounts are suspended. Alarms set
by these accounts will not go off.
Solution:
Log back in to the sub-user account that was used to set the alarm: Go to Settings > Users &
accounts > Users and select the desired sub-user.
If the issue persists, perform the following steps:
EMUI 4.X and EMUI 5.X: Go to Settings > Apps > Clock > Storage > CLEAR DATA.
EMUI 8.0: Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > Clock > Storage > CLEAR DATA.
Unable to configure the sleep time, auto sync, and battery percentage options
Cause:
Power saving mode was enabled (this occurs when the battery level falls below 20%). When
Power saving mode is enabled, your phone automatically disables the options to configure the
sleep time, auto sync, and battery percentage options.
Solution:
Go to
Settings > Battery
and disable Power saving mode.
Power saving mode is also disabled automatically when your phone is charging.
Online system update failure
Check the following items before troubleshooting the specific issue:
Ensure that your phone has not been rooted.
A rooted phone may fail an OTA update
or may not be able to receive OTA update notifications.
Ensure that your phone has sufficient power.
You can"t update your phone if the
battery level is below 20%.
Check whether a memory card is installed on your phone.
If yes, the online update
may fail when your phone and the memory card are incompatible. Supported memory
card brands may vary according to your device.
Ensure that your phone"s internal storage space and space on the memory card is
sufficient.
If insufficient, online updates may fail. Supported memory card brands may
vary according to your device.
Ensure that the online update process is not manually interrupted.
For example, the
update process may stop if you press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to force
restart your phone.
