The same nosepiece is used for
both blind rivet nuts and blind rivet
bolts.
2 .9 OPERATING MODES
2 .9 .1 Spin on mode
There are 2 setting options for screwing on the
fastener:
• Trigger
• Threaded mandrel / threaded sleeve
2 .9 .1 .1 Trigger
The fastener is automatically screwed on when the
trigger is pressed.
2 .9 .1 .2 Threaded mandrel / threaded
sleeve
Screwing on of the fastener starts automatically
when the fastener is pressed against the threaded
mandrel or threaded sleeve.
2 .9 .2 Setting mode
The fastener can be set in either force-controlled or
stroke-controlled mode.
2 .9 .2 .1 Force
The fastener is set under force control. The setting
tool sets the fastener with a preset force.
2 .9 .2 .2 Stroke
The fastener is set under stroke control. The
setting tool sets the fastener until a preset stroke is
reached.
2 .9 .3 Emergency mode
Emergency mode can be started if the fastener has
tilted with the threaded mandrel / threaded sleeve
during the setting process and can no longer be
unscrewed. The fastener can then be separated
