b) Initial starting up :
Before the first use, it is important to remove, by using detergent, the anti-rust coating applied to the griddle in
the factory.
Connecting the equipment :

Make sure that the voltage and frequency of the electrical system comply with the values indicated on
the nameplate.

Always check that the electric power supply cable and plug are free of damage.
-
Remove the flange to pay out the entire length of the cord and feed it through the square hole then close
it before inserting the plug into the socket.

Connect the electric power supply cable to a socket with an earthed protection wire.
-
The display is now connected.
NB: To connect the display to a socket without any earth protection wire, or to connect directly to the electrical
system, have a qualified electrician make the connection.

1/ Switch on the On/Off switch.
2/ Turn the thermostat on the desired position.
3/ Once the orange thermostatic pilot light is switched off, the griddle plate is ready.
Stopping the equipment

Turn the thermostat to 0

Set the switches to 0: the appliance is turned off entirely

Remove the electric power supply cable

Let the appliance cool down.

Clean the equipment. (cf. 6 Cleaning)

Lay some grease on the plate
d) Failure / Repair :
In case of failure or if a part is damaged, please call your after sales service and have qualified personnel deal
with any technical operations.
VI. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Remove the connector

Clean the appliance regularly each time you use it.
-
For cleaning, use only mild non-abrasive maintenance products for stainless steel, soapy water or
dishwashing liquid with a non-abrasive sponge.

Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth.
-
Dry the appliance with a soft clean cloth.
-
Never clean the appliance with a jet of water because leaks could cause irreparable damage to it.
-
Never immerse the appliance, the cord or plug in water or any other liquid, to avoid electric shocks.
