Når du bruger elværktøjer skal de  grundlæggende sikkerhedsprocedurer altid følges for at

FØR IBRUGTAGNING 

■ Kontroller følgende:

→ Sørg for, at apparatets spænding svarer til netspændingen.

→ Er ledning og stik i god stand? Ser den stærk ud og uden synlige beskadigelser.

→ Forsigtighed anbefales, ved brug af en lang forlængerledning.

■ Anvend ikke elværktøjet under fugtige forhold.

■ Metaldysen bliver varm. Pas på ikke at røre ved metal dysen.

■ For at undgå skader på varmelegemet undgå at låse eller blokere dysen. 

■ Forlad ikke apparatet, mens det er tændt.

■ Når du bruger apparatet, peg det ikke mod mennesker eller dyr.

■ Se ikke ind i den varme luft dyse.

■ Brug ikke denne enhed i regn eller fugtige miljøer, eller i nærheden af eksplosive eller brændbare 

 

    produkter.

■ Brug ikke apparatet på eller nær de meget tørre steder, dette for at undgå brand.

■ Tag altid stikket ud af stikkontakten, når apparatet ikke bruges, og mens du skifter dysen samt under 

 

    vedligeholdelse af apparatet.

■ Hold ikke apparatet samme sted i for lang tid af gangen.

■ Vær opmærksom på direkte / indirekte arbejdsområde fordi varmen kan antænde brændbare materialer 

 

    som nødvendigvis ikke er i syne.

■ Lad ikke de varme dele røre ledningen eller andre brændbare materialer.

■ Apparatet skal altid være rent, tørt og fri for fedt og olie.

■ Brug ikke apparatet til andet end det tiltænkte formål.

Denne enhed når en temperatur på 600 grader uden synlige tegn (ingen flamme), men der er 

stadig en brandfare. Hold øje med dysen, dennes varme kan forårsage forbrændinger.

4. Power tool use and care

³

  Do not force the power tool. Use the correct  power tool for your application. The correct power 

tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

  Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off . Any power tool that cannot 

be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.

³

  Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing acces-

sories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the 
power tool accidentally.

³

  Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with 

the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in 
the hands of untrained users.

³

  Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts 

and any other condition that may aff ect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the 
power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

³

  Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges 

are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

³

  Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc., in accordance with these instructions and in 

the manner intended  for the particular type of power tool, taking into account the working 
conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations diff erent from 
intended could result in a hazardous situation.

5. Service

   Please ask a qualifi ed expert who uses original replacement parts to repair your power tool. 

This will ensure proper functioning of the power tool.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons 
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and 
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of 
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall 
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made 
by children without supervision.

When using electric tools, basic safety precautions should always be followed to 
reduce the risk of fi re, electric shock and personal injury.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

  Check the following:

 Make sure the voltage of the appliance corresponds with the power voltage

 Are the mains lead and the mains plug in a good state: strong and without ravels or damages

 Caution is advised when using long extension cables

  Do not use the appliance under moist circumstances

  The metal mouthpiece gets hot. Watch out and do not touch the metal mouthpiece

  Prevent damage of the heating element. Do not lock or block the mouth piece;

  Do not leave the appliance when switched on

  When in operation, do not point the device at people or animals

  Never look into the hot air nozzle

Q

  Do not use this device in rain or damp surroundings, or near explosive or fl ammable products.

  Do not use the device on or near very dry spots to avoid fi re

  Always remove the plug from the socket when not using the device, when replacing the nozzles or 

during maintenance of the device

  Do not point the device at the same place for longer periods of time

  Do not hold the device too close to the surface to be worked on, as the device can overheat

  Pay attention to the direct / indirect workspace as the heat can ignite fl ammable materials, which are 

close by but not necessarily in view

  Do not allow the hot parts of the device to touch the cord or other fl ammable materials

Q

  The device should always be clean, dry and free of grease and oil

Q

  Do not use the appliance for purposes other than for which it is intended.

This appliance operates at a temperature of 600 degrees without visible signs of this 
temperature (no fl ames), still there is a chance of fi re risk. Watch out for the hot air 
stream from the mouth piece. This air stream can cause burns.

WHEN OPERATING THE APPLIANCE

  If you are going to use the tool, vapours and gas can be released during a short time. This can be 

harmful for your health. Asthmatics can suff er hindrance of it

  Before connecting the plug to the mains voltage you have to check if the switch is in position“0”

³

  Keep the mains lead always away from the nozzle of the tool

³

  Keep children and animals away from the appliance if you are using it

³

  Keep all parts of the body away from the metal heating head. Do not touch it before it is cooled down

³

  Carry the appliance by the handle, even when the metal heating head is cooled down

³

  Hold the appliance by the insulated parts, as well during as after use and make sure, the cable cannot 

touch any hot parts.

IMMEDIATELY SWITCH OFF THE APPLIANCE WHEN

  Plug and/or cable are defective or damaged

³

  The switch is defective

³

  You smell or see smoke caused by scorched insulation from the appliance.
