Read the instructions before use
Keep the manual for any questions of future use of your product. The product is designed and
manufactured in compliance with European standards: CE, RoHS.
General safety instructions
• The heater is hot when in use, do not touch the hot surface of the heater and keep all combustible
materials at least 3 feet from the heater.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is being used near children.
• Do not leave the heater unattended when in operation.
• Always unplug the heater when it is not in use.
• Do not operate the heater if the plug or the power cord is damaged in any way or the unit has
malfunctioned.
• This heater can be used outdoors.
• When disconnecting the heater always make sure that the controls are in the OFF(0) position and never
pull the plug by the cord.
• Do not allow foreign objects to enter the heater as this may cause an electric shock or a fire hazard.
• To prevent the possible risk of fire please ensure that the heater is not covered by any objects.
• Do not use in areas where there is petrol, paint or any other flammable liquids stored.
• Never use the heater for anything other then its intended purpose.
• The heater must not be directly located below a socket outlet. Always ensure that the heater has cooled
fully before storing.
• Do not use this heater outdoor during bad weather like rain, storm or snow.
• Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that switches the
heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or positioned
incorrectly.
Maintenance and cleaning
• We recommend that the heater is cleaned at least once a month and before storage.
• Do not clean the product until 60 minutes after it is turned off.
• When cleaning, do not spray cleaners or water directly into the product.
• Apply the cleaner on a cloth and wipe the product.
• Regularly check the cord for damages and ensure that the plug is clean.
• If the power cord, lamp or other electrical parts needs replacing, this must be done only by a professional
electrician.
If your heater fails to operate
Follow the troubleshooting steps listed below:
• Be sure that the unit is plugged into the power supply and that the electrical outlet is in working order.
• Check for obstructions..
• If you find any obstruction, turn the heater OFF, unplug the unit from the power supply and wait for it to
cool down, carefully remove the obstruction, plug the heater back into the power supply and restart the
unit as described in the OPERATIONS guide.
Disposal
European directive 2002/96/EC on Electrical and Electronic Equipment Waste (WEEE), requires that old
household appliances are not thrown into the normal municipal waste stream. The appliances should be
collected separately to maximize the recovery and recycling of materials and reduce the impact on human
health and the environment. The symbol of the “crossed off dustbin” is stamped on the product to recall the
obligations of the separate collection. Consumers should contact their dealer or local authorities regarding
the procedure to be followed for the removal of their product.
