Error messages

Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety
system which is able to detect operating
faults.
These faults are indicated by one or two
wash cycle indicator lights  “G” flashing
rapidly.
Take a note of which lights are flashing,
turn the appliance off and call Hotpoint
Service for technical assistance (see back
page).

Tap off alarm

If you have forgotten to turn the water tap
on, you dishwasher will alert you of this
by sounding a few short beeps for a few
minutes.
Turn on the water tap and the dishwasher
will start after a few minutes.
If you are not there when the beeps
sounded, the appliance will stop automati-
cally and wash cycle lights 2 and 3 (wash
and rinses) will flash rapidly.
Turn the dishwasher off at the On-Off
button, check the water supply and turn
on the water tap, wait approximately 20
seconds before turning appliance back
on, then repeat your wash cycle selec-
tions, the wash cycle will start.

Clogged filter alarm

If the dishwasher stops and wash cycle
lights 1 and 3 (pre-wash and rinses) flash
rapidly, this means the filter is clogged.
Turn the dishwasher off, follow cleaning
instruction in the ‘Care and Cleaning’ sec-
tion.
When the filter is back in position, turn
the dishwasher back on.
Repeat your wash cycle selections, the
wash cycle will start.

most problems.

If after all the checks, the appliance
