Manual Recline Lever
Reclining Back Seat
(May require medical necessity)
Driving with the seatback reclined makes it difficult to see
where you are going and increases the chance of serious
injury or death from collision and tip-over. Do not attempt to
drive this vehicle with seatback reclined.
• The seatback can drop backward when the “recline lever”
is not locked.
• To avoid a fall from the seat, always make sure the “recline
lever” is in the locked position before applying weight to the
seatback or arms.
The optional reclining seat will permit the seatback to recline
approximately 45 degrees.
Seatback Adjustment for Reclining Back Seats -
1.
Before adjusting the recline angle, secure the spring-loaded seat
back, either by holding the seatback or sitting in the chair and
applying pressure to the seat back.
2.
Push back or lift up on the recline lever, depending on the
configuration, (Figures 4P and 4Q) to release the latch and position
the seatback until a comfortable position is reached.
3. Push forward or down on the lever to lock the seatback into position.
