EN I 9
Direct connection to the chimney (
TYPE A
)
With connected accumulation mass (
TYPE B
)
Fireplace insert is designed for short periods of burning operation. The load interval should be between 45–90 min.
4. Operation Of Fireplace Insert
4.1 First Start
Remove all the documents and all the other articles which are not part of the burn chamber from the fireplace insert. The first burn may
be accompanied by a light smell which is caused by the hardening process of the glue, please ensure that the room is well ventilated.
If the following steps haven‘t been followed by the stove fitter, please make sure that:
· the windows in the room where the fireplace is installed are open and the space is well ventilated
· fireplace insert is connected to chimney
· the first two batches are responding to minimum batches as described in the attachment on the end of the brochure.
·
the water exchanger is filled with water and de-aired
·
the security elements (over pressure valve, thermostatic valve) are installed correctly and the functionality was tested
·
thermostatic valve is connected with water heating fireplace insert and tap water with a pressure of min 2 bar
4.2 Starting Of The Fire And How To Burn The Right Way
1. Check if there is not too much ash from the previous burning. The continuous layer of ash connot be higher than 2 cm below the
bottom side of the door.
2. Set the air control level to the position MAX. This will guarantee there is enough air in the burn chamber for starting the fire. For an
easier orientation follow the mark on the air contol lever or in its proximity
(pic 4)
3. Open the fireplace door and load the suitable load of wood (
see the attachment at the end of the brochure
). Start with larger
pieces and put smaller on top of those. Make sure there is enough space between the wood pieces for air circulation.
4. Place a firestarter on the top layer of the wood and light it. (

).
5. Close the door and observe the fire until the wood starts burning completely. If the process failed, wait until the gas and smoke
dissapear from the burn chamber and repeat
step 4
.
6. When every wood piece is burning, set the air control lever to the position MID (

).
Never close the air inlet when there are visible flames in the burn chamber. Both the quality of burning
and the fireplace insert will be harmed this way. Do not add wood to the fire when there are visible
flames, there is a risk of smoke leakage from the fireplace when you open the door. The thermal
expansion of the metal parts during the burning process may cause noises which don‘t affect the
functionality and safety.
