Stand assembly
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparation for disassembly on page 14
2.
Using caution, lay the computer down on a flat surface covered with a soft cloth.
CAUTION:
Before positioning the computer with the display assembly facing down, make sure
the work surface is clear of tools, screws, and any other foreign objects. Failure to follow this caution
can result in damage to the display.
3.
Slide the rubber hinge caps so they are positioned about an inch up the stand (1).
4.
Loosen the captive Phillips screws (2) from under both caps that secure the stand to the computer.
5.
Pry the rectangular plastic hinge cover off the computer (3).
6.
Remove the stand from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the stand assembly.
