The Program Catalog
The Program catalog is where you name, delete, send, or
run programs. This is also where you start the Program
Editor, where you create and edit programs. Programs
can also be run from the Home view or other programs.
Open the
Program
Catalog
Press
S
PRGM
to
open
the Program
Catalog.
The Program Catalog
displays a list of program
names. The first item in the
Program Catalog is a built-in entry that has the same
name as the active app. This entry is the app program
for the active app, if such a program exists. See the
section on
App Programming
.
Before starting to work with programs, you should take a
few minutes to become familiar with the Program Catalog
menu keys. You can use any of the following keys (both
menu and keyboard) to perform tasks in the Program
Catalog.

The program catalog keys are:
Key
Meaning
Opens the highlighted
program for editing.
Prompts for a new
program name, then
opens an empty
program. Not displayed
if the app program is
selected
Transmits the highlighted
program to another HP
39gII or to a PC.
Runs the highlighted
program.
