Getting Started
To Demodulate AM: IF AM Detector
Step 2 - Select the detector’s output
The choices are the front-panel
AM NOISE
connector or the rear-panel
IF
LEVEL
connector.
The
AM NOISE
output is AC coupled. Its signal can be analyzed with a
low-frequency spectrum analyzer.
The
IF LEVEL
output is DC coupled and filtered. Its signal is a DC analog
of the downconverter’s IF level.
1. Press
the
Amplitudes
softkey.
2. Press
the
more 1 of 2
softkey.
3. Press
the
IF AM Output
softkey.
4. Select the output by pressing one of the following softkeys:
•
The
IF AM NOISE
softkey selects the
AM NOISE
connector.
•
The
IF LEVEL
softkey selects the
IF LEVEL
connector.
