Use
adjustment
procedures
after
repairing
the
tracking
generator
,
or
if
performance
test
results
fail
specications

Considerations

arning
A
djustments
in
this
section
are
performed
with
power
supplied
to
the
instrument
and
protective
covers
removed.
There
are
voltages
at
many
points
in
the
instrument
that
can,
if
contacted,
cause
personal
injury
.
Be
extremely
careful.
A
djustments
should
be
performed
only
by
trained
service
personnel.
P
ower
is
still
applied
to
this
instrument
with
the
LINE
switch
in
the
OFF
position.
Before
removing
or
installing
any
assembly
or
printed
circuit
board,
remove
the
instrument's
line-power
cord.
Capacitors
inside
the
instrument
may
still
be
charged,
even
if
the
instrument
has
been
disconnected
from
its
source
of
supply
.
Use
a
nonmetallic
adjustment
tool
whenever
possible
.
Note
Before
beginning
the
adjustment
procedures
,
allow
the
instrument
to
warm
up
for
at
least
ve
minutes
(see
General
Specications
in

1-1).
