Step 9. Unpack any other SPU cabinet that was shipped.
Unpacking the Peripheral Cabinet
When ordered with a Superdome system, the Support Managements Station (SMS) and its peripherals come
in a peripheral cabinet, racked and cabled. Unpack the peripheral cabinet according to the installation
instructions that come with it.
NOTE
If, by special arrangement, the SMS is shipped to the customer separate from a peripheral
cabinet, refer to Appendix I, “Unpacking the SMS, Connecting Cables, and Setting SCSI
Addresses,” on page 233 for instructions on how to cable the peripherals and set SCSI
addresses.
Unpacking Other Equipment
Unpack the cartons that accompany the SPU cabinet:
