Replacing the Top Cover
CAUTION:
Avoid injury by keeping fingers away from the right (captive screw) edge of
the cover.
1.
Rotate the enclosure so its left side slightly overhangs the edge of the tabletop.
2.
Referring to preceding Figure 4–3, engage the four tabs on the left side of the cover
with the slots on the lower left side of the enclosure. Lower the cover until the right
edge rests on the enclosure.
3.
While pushing the left side of the cover against the enclosure, push the right (captive
screw) edge down until it is fully seated.
4.
As shown in the preceding figure, install the three M4 screws
n
on the hinged side of
the enclosure and tighten the three captive screws
o
on the other side to 13-15 ft.-lb.
Reinstalling the Enclosure
1.
Slide the enclosure into the rack. Be sure to align the rear tabs
q
with the rack slides as
shown in Figure 4–2.
2.
As shown in the same figure, insert the four screws
n
that fasten the enclosure
o
to
the rack.
3.
As show in Figure 4–1, install the front bezel by inserting the four screws
o
into the
enclosure’s face panel
q
. Close the front door and tighten the thumbscrews
n
.
4.
Go to the rear of the cabinet, locate the back panel of the
AlphaServer
TS15 enclosure,
and connect the ground cable and all other cables to the enclosure. Connect both power
connectors. (Refer to Figure 1-15 for details.)
5.
Turn on system power by pressing the power switch on the operator control panel. Boot
the operating system.
