Before removing the display assembly, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the bottom cover (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see

Remove the display assembly:
1.
Disconnect the display panel cable (1) and the touch control cable (2) from the system board.
2.
Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables (3) from the terminals on the WLAN module.
NOTE:
The #1/white WLAN antenna cable connects to the WLAN module #1/Main terminal. The #2/ black
WLAN antenna cable connects to the WLAN module #2/Aux terminal.
3.
Release the display panel cable from the routing channel built into the keyboard/top cover (4).
4.
Release the WLAN antenna cables from the routing channel built into the keyboard/top cover (5).
5.
Position the computer with the keyboard facing downward and the display open 90 degrees.
6.
Remove the four Phillips M2.5×6.0 screws (1) that secure the display to the keyboard/top cover.
