Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

When replacing the system board, be sure to remove the WLAN module (see

) from the defective system board and install them on the replacement
system board.
Remove the system board:
1.
Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1) Display panel cable
(2) Touch control cable
(3) Speaker cable
(4) WLAN antenna cables from the WLAN module
(5) Keyboard cable
(6) Backlight cable
(7) Touchpad cable
(8) I/O board cable
