Before removing the power button board with audio jack cable, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:

Remove the power button board with audio jack cable:
1.
Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the audio jack (1).
2.
Remove the Phillips M1.6×3.0 screw from the audio jack (2).
3.
Remove the Phillips M1.6×2.0 screw from the power button board bracket (3).
