Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Remove the bottom cover (

3.
Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (
).
Remove the solid-state drive:
1.
Remove the solid-state drive shield from the system board.
NOTE:
The solid-state drive shield is not available as a spare part.
