and the link status is
displayed in iLO.
If Linux legacy utilities are used to manage the NIC, iLO displays the link status only if the NIC is
configured by an administrator. If the NIC is not configured, iLO displays the status
Unknown
.

If iLO cannot communicate with the NIC port, it displays the status
Unknown
.
If the NIC driver reports the status
link_down
, iLO displays the status
Down
.
If the NIC driver reports the status
link_up
, iLO displays the status

The following information is displayed for Fibre Channel host bus adapters or converged network
