Power ON the WLAN
1. From the
Start
menu, tap the
iPAQ Wireless
folder.
2. Tap the
Wireless Control
icon to power ON the WLAN.
3. Tap the
WLAN
button to power on the WLAN.
The iPAQ Pocket PC has an LED indicator that illuminates to
reflect the WLAN connection status.
Activate the iPAQ WLAN Icon
Once you create profiles (see “Work with Profiles”), tapping the
iPAQ WLAN
icon enables the WLAN and places the icon in the
lower right corner of the
Today
screen.
1. From the
Start
menu, tap the
iPAQ Wireless
folder.
2. Tap the
iPAQ WLAN
icon to activate the
WLAN
icon in the
lower right corner of the
Today
screen.

If the iPAQ WLAN is not powered ON, you will be prompted to
power it ON.
3. Click the “X” in the upper right corner of the screen to close
the window.
If the LED indicator is flashing... Then, the WLAN is...
Green
On and connected.
Amber
On and not connected.
