Power ON the WLAN
1. From the Start menu, tap the iPAQ Wireless folder.
2. Tap the Wireless Control icon to power ON the WLAN.
3. Tap the WLAN button to power on the WLAN.
The iPAQ Pocket PC has an LED indicator that illuminates to
reflect the WLAN connection status.
During your initial log on to the Wireless LAN (WLAN), you are
prompted to enter iPAQ WLAN Wireless Adapter information.
You have two options:
1. Tap OK and wait to enter the Wireless Adapter information
until you are setting up your WLAN Profile. If you use the
default selection “Use server-assigned IP address,” you will
use a DHCP server address.
If the LED indicator is flashing... Then, the WLAN is...
Green
On and connected.
Amber
On but not connected.
