Flash On Time
This feature specifies the ON time for the indicator LED while in Flash Mode.
The selectable range is 100 to 9,900 milliseconds (0.1 to 9.9 seconds), in 100
millisecond increments.
Follow these instructions to set this feature.
1. Determine the desired setting in milliseconds.
2. Divide the desired setting by 100 (setting is in 100ms increments). Pad the
result with leading zeroes to yield two digits. For example: 0 = 00, 5 = 05,
20 = 20, etc.
3. Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE bar code to enter Program-
ming Mode.
4. Scan the bar code: SELECT FLASH ON TIME SETTING.
5. Scan the appropriate two digits from the keypad in
rep-
resenting the duration which was determined in the steps above. You will
hear a two-beep indication after the last character.
6. Scan the ENTER/EXIT PROGRAMMING MODE bar code to exit Programming
Mode.
This completes the procedure. See
for some examples of how to set
this feature.
