when connecting to a network to reactivate your network connection. To
totally power off the system when connecting or disconnecting from the
network, do the following:
1. Click the right mouse button on the OS/2 Desktop, then choose Shut Down.
2. Click OK to confirm.
3. Disconnect from ac power and undock the OmniBook.
4. Press Ctrl-Alt-Blue button to power down the OmniBook.
5. Note: This procedure does not save your current status..
To configure the OmniBook with OS/2 Warp 4.0

OS/2 Warp has a battery power indicator. Open the System Setup folder and
double-click the Power Icon. You can also use the Power Icon’s menu to
suspend the OmniBook.

Do not enter the System Configuration Utility (SCU) by pressing Fn-F2 while
OS/2 is running. OS/2 may lock up when you exit the SCU. Start the SCU by
pressing F2 when prompted during the boot process.
To use the CD-ROM drive with OS/2
You must shut down and reboot when switching from the floppy drive to the
OmniBook CD-ROM. To use both the floppy drive and the internal CD-ROM:
1. Insert the CD-ROM in the expansion bay.
2. Connect the floppy disk drive to the parallel port on the left side of the
OmniBook.
3. Restart OS/2.
