To disable drive lock
Drive lock is enabled by default, but can be disabled.
1. Press Fn+F2 to start the System Configuration Utility.
2. Select Password, then select Password Options.
3. Select Disable Hard Drive Lock, then press the space bar.
4. Select OK, Exit, then Save.
5. Press the Off button on the left side of the OmniBook, then press the blue
On/Suspend button.
To attach a security cable
Your OmniBook has three built-in connectors that allow you to secure the
OmniBook with a cable—two on the back of the computer and one on the right
side. The Kensington MicroSaver lock system works with these connectors and is
available at many computer stores. The same lock works with an OmniBook
docking system.
