10. Change the interrupt to 11, and ensure the I/O port address is one of the
following: 300, 310, 320, 340 and the memory range to D0000.
11. Click Close, then click OK.
12. Enter a workgroup if appropriate.
The drivers on A:\ will now be copied. You may need to enter the
C:\MASTERS\WFW311\DISK7 or DISK8 path several times to transfer the
necessary files.
After the files have been copied, you will see a series of Windows messages. If
you are using the default Windows for Workgroups configuration, the first
message will state that the Network Setup did not change the AUTOEXEC.BAT
or CONFIG.SYS file. This is due to our use of a multi-configuration. You can
either add the NET START statement to the beginning of your AUTOEXEC.BAT
or run it from the DOS prompt. Also remove the /N from the WIN /N statement
at the bottom of the AUTOEXEC.BAT to enable networking logon.
13. Reboot the OmniBook.
To install a 3Com 3C562 EtherLink III LAN+33.6 modem
PC card
This card will not work with Card and Socket Services, but the following process
will utilize the point enabler. You must allocate 32KB of memory for PC card
support. Follow the steps to maximize memory on page 2-12.
