Remove the four Phillips M2.5×6.5 screws that secure the display assembly to the keyboard/top cover.

Swing the front edge of the keyboard/top cover (1) up and away from the display assembly.
(The keyboard/top cover disengages from the display assembly hinges.)
8.
Separate the keyboard/top cover (2) from the display assembly.
9.
If it is necessary to replace the display panel assembly or any of the internal display components, follow
these steps:
CAUTION:
The display panel is extremely fragile. Using excessive force can damage the panel. Use
caution when disassemblying the display assembly.

Attach two suction cups (1) to the display assembly as shown in the following illustration.
