The Switch 4108GL has several built-in tools for monitoring, analyzing, and
troubleshooting switch and network operation:

Status:
Includes options for displaying general switch information, man-
agement address data, port status, port and trunk group statistics, MAC
addresses detected on each port or VLAN, and STP, IGMP, and VLAN data

Display details of traffic volume on individual ports

Uses SNMP to enable management sta-

Receivers and Authentication Traps” on page 10-8).

Port monitoring (mirroring):
Copy all traffic from the specified ports
to a designated monitoring port
