Install memory modules in pairs of the same size following the population order
illustrated in the Table 2-1.

To remove a memory module:
1.
Perform the pre-installation procedures described on page 2-5.
2.
If you intend to remove a memory module from the DIMM5 to DIMM8 slots, lift the air
duct away from the chassis first.
3.
If necessary, remove any accessory boards, cables, or that prevent access to the DIMM
slots.
4.
Locate the memory module you want to remove.
5.
Remove the selected memory module:
a.
Completely open the holding clips securing the module.
This forces the module up in the slot and makes it easier to remove.
b.
Gently pull the memory module upward to remove it from its slot.
